01. i’m olive, i’m 30 years old, from finland, and i’ve been writing on tumblr for too long for my sanity yet here i am with yet another villain blog. this is gonna be low to medium activity, depending on my attention span. i have other blogs, and my inspiration tends to shift around so if you are very impatient with replies, you shouldn't follow me.02. this blog is private and selective, meaning i will only interact with those i follow and who follow me back.03. i won’t interact with anyone under the age of 18, and if you don’t have your age stated in your blog, i will soft-block you. in addition, i am extremely selective when following muses that are minors, considering the overall themes of this blog.04. there will be extremely DARK THEMES on this blog, i can’t stress this enough. things like criminal activity, murder, violence, drugs, weapons, torture, possibly strong sexual themes, manipulation, etc. i will not write anything gross like underage ships, non-con, incest or any of the like under any circumstances.05. giovanni is a genuinely horrible, irredeemable villain with very little moral compass. muse doesn’t equal the mun, so i don’t agree with any of the evil stuff he does, i just like exploring bad guys. that being said, i don’t like watering him down for anyone, so please keep this in mind when interacting. however, there will probably be some shitposting and crack here at times because that’s just how i roll with my blogs.06. unnecessary petty drama, harassment, anon hate and vaguing give me a ton of anxiety, so i really prefer not seeing that on my dash. i also don’t like reading untagged ooc wank or hate in general. basically, don’t be a dick. i’m too old.
07. as far as ships go, we’ll see. i love shipping but as said, giovanni is a horrible villain, so ships will likely only happen with those that share that trait. i also do love writing smut but i mostly do it over on discord. all suggestive stuff is perfectly a-okay though.08. i ask that you, as the writer, don't underestimate my muse / team rocket in general when it comes to serious threads. if your muse wants to talk shit to mine (please do, i always encourage and love to write conflicts!), it's all good, and i'm trusting that you are ready to deal with the consequences. i play him as a villain of a very high threat level, he is literally a mob boss.and no, he is not untouchable nor invincible, i do not ask for any morally good muse to roll over for him or anything of the like. all i ask is mutual respect between writers.i don't want to sound mean with this rule, but i've had one too many experiences of being written into the corner by someone who simply wants to play out their irl hero complex with their muse while disregarding my headcanons and overall views.i do not, and will not play team rocket as a joke. if we have clashing headcanons on this, feel free to hit me up and we can work things out. if this is not something you vibe with, that's all good, but we will most likely not mesh as writers.9. i’m also asking that you don’t use my muse as nothing but a plot device in your character’s story when we write. of course i’m not about to police anyone’s backstories where he’s involved, i love to read them, but please check beforehand whether it goes with my characterization before assuming that he’s done the things you’ve written for him in your story.
IMPORTANT NOTES please don't follow me if you aren't interested in writing with me. this should be a given. i am not interested in being only a follower number.i portray team rocket as a full-blown dangerous criminal organization with ties to everything from illegal pokémon trafficking to assassinations. in my portrayal, they are very much the pokémon world equivalent of yakuza, and i will not shy away from writing dark, gory and bloody themes that normally, obviously, wouldn't be part of the pokémon world.

in my main verse, giovanni is currently hiding in plain sight. shortly after the events at the goldenrod radio tower, every bit of information of his criminal record and the very existence of team rocket was mysteriously wiped from the police database. therefore he cannot be prosecuted and can simply live his life as a seemingly regular, if not a little shady and tax-evading, businessman right under the nose of the authorities while continuing to pursue team rocket's end goal behind the curtains. everyone who's heard of the organization knows who he is and what he's done, but there isn't anything they can do until he's caught in act again.

team rocket is your all-around evil criminal squad. you got enough money in your pockets, they literally take care of any dirty, schemy job for you. just a few things they specialize in are money laundering, weapon trading, assassinations, pokémon trafficking, drug trafficking, the widest spread illegal trafficking program of slowpoke tails world-wide (very popular among kalosian restaurants), illicit pokémon breeding (basically puppy mills), hosting auction nights for the rarest pokémon they obtain, and so on and so forth. and if you are a wealthy public figure desperate enough to go to them for help, you bet they will blackmail you to hell and back afterwards to get as much extra cash as humanly possible.02.
giovanni has always been very nonchalant towards battling. the gym leader front he put up was a necessity that he pulled through for business reasons and nothing else. winning a battle against him nowadays means nothing, he’ll probably just shrug and walk off like ‘ok that was fun i guess’, but getting him to battle is an almost impossible task because he just doesn’t care or see the point in it. he’s long since gotten over his pride issues that were the initial reason for disbanding rocket.
pokémon really are just tools to him (at least he says so, and then goes to pamper his persian with the most ridiculous high-end stuff you can imagine). he sometimes attends those battle tournaments as an ex gym leader to keep up a good front for the public.03.
he is an extremely bad parent, due to both generational trauma and just lack of interest. he may not be physically abusive or even that verbally abusive, but he is painfully neglectful, especially after the HGSS events. he’s stoic and indifferent towards his children, and has never been in a long-term relationship nor had a wholesome family life with anyone, it’s all unplanned one-night flings that he found out about years later.
basically he doesn’t trust them because he hasn’t raised any of them, and doesn’t know how to be around them. and he isn’t putting much effort into learning.more tba.
